Any Copywriting Apprenticeships?
Okay...this is going to sound really crazy, but...
As you all may or may not know, I am looking to retire. I don't need the money
anymore and quite honestly, the Internet marketing thing just doesn't thrill me
anymore.
But...I don't want to just sit around and vegetate.
I know in the past that some copywriters (the big dudes) have hired apprentices
who would write some of their clients' copy. I understand that these guys had
to be damn good at what they do and it's not easy to get one of these gigs.
But I figured, what the heck? Nothing ventured, nothing gained. I've been writing
copy for myself and a few jobs for other marketers for like 9 years now. I
think I've developed some chops over that period of time.
Soooooo....if anybody knows of ANY big name copywriters who are looking for
an apprentice to pick up some of the slack, I'm available.
The money is secondary. Just pay me enough to make it worth my time. You
can keep the bulk of the payment. No biggie. I'm looking to make maybe 2K
a month. Just enough to keep me in Magic the Gathering cards.
Like I said, I figure if I don't ask, I don't get.
Naturally, I will provide samples of my work.
I have plenty of 'em.
