I have this book and this is the best book for grammar "Correct English" by William Tanner(published 1928)

Woe Is I is a good book for those trickier grammatical issues.

I was also going to suggest English Grammar: Language as Human Behavior, but I didn't realize it's almost $100!

Your post appears to be quite correct grammatically. As from the self education I have taught myself in online copy writing you only need to write for the 12th grade so your grammar may already be ok to start. I myself am just starting out and find it all a bit unnerving but still pressing ahead with it. Hope this helps. Kind regards Jason

@saggsee My grammar is okay, but not perfect. I read all of the
other marketers emails (since I want to specialize in email copy)
and I notice the perfect grammar and punctuation.

I guess it's just something that bothers me inside.

Get hold of an 8th or 9th grade English book. The older the better. They used to crack our freakin' knuckles in the old days for not "watching yer P's 'n Q's..."

The Deluxe Transitive Vampire: The Ultimate Handbook of Grammar for the Innocent, the Eager, and the Doomed
A fun book - and cheap if you go used.

I find this site very useful Advanced English lessons.

Your best bet is to take composition 1 and 2 at your local community college. In many areas you can take these classes for no more than a few hundred dollars. You will get experience writing on varied topics, many of which you can choose, and have your grammar torn apart by the teacher so you learn. Additionally, most community colleges have writing centers which allow you to sit down with a tutor in 30 minute sessions to review your work and give you tips before you turn it in.
