    Mark, thanks. I just did it before coming in here. I work for a tech security company, so believe me, this is an ongoing process for me.

    For those who use the same password for everything (not recommended, btw!), here is a great password vault that is free and easy to use: KeePassX

    I can't tell you how helpful this small tool has been for me. I have almost 100 accounts, and I try to have different passwords for most of them. The tool can also auto-generate "tough to crack" passwords by using a combination of letters, numbers, and characters.

    Once you get into the habit of changing your passwords on occasion, you'll feel a little better. The bad guys are out there, looking for any way into a computer network. Even if you aren't working for a company, they'll still try to use passwords to get to the good stuff: namely your bank account. I try to change my password at least once a year for my accounts.
