Finding the right balance and location
I have been doing my own article writing for the past 3 years but haven't done much real copy writing. I didn't put to much into it because I knew it was going to take a good bit of time to get my site to page 1 in yahoo and google.
Now that I am there and getting ok traffic I started thinking about how I would incorporate copy writing a sales push into the how to article that is getting me the most traffic.
My most clicked on page is a how to choose a cruise article with a banner add and a little mention of the sales site. I get a lot of clicks on the banner which goes to the cruise companies web site but as of yet I have gotten no sales just a lot of price checkers.
So my question is should I end my article with a sales push, should I mention it a few times in the article, do I put something next to the sales banner to get my viewers to not just check prices but to come back and buy something.
