This is a video regarding stop smoking.
My friend shared this on Facebook, so his friends stop smoking.

I, in the other hand, found something really interesting at the few seconds before video finish, it's regarding flyers that work VER WELL !

Watch this video (it is adviced you don't skip the video to get the feeling I have right now)

That's a pretty ingenious way to use psychology.
Cialdini talked about the consistency principle and
how people try to act consistent according to how
they make decisions before, or how the society
    views them.

Of course, the underlying emotion being agitated
here is GUILT. (I love using that, it's an omnipotent
    emotional vehicle)

And of course, the most powerful persuasion method
    ever...Self-persuasion.

    1) Grabbing Attention - A provocative question from
a child too young to smoke from a cigarette, and the
child sets the context of "smoking is bad for your
    health" subtlely.

    2) Interest - The child asks why he/she does not
want to give him the cigarette.

    3) Desire - The person talks about the benefits they
know deep inside of themselves... They build up value
for "quitting" as compared to being stuck in addiction.

I think David Garfinkel liked to talk about being able to
"visualize the action", which will eventually lead to the
action being taken, since that's what copywriting is
    about.

    4) Action - 40% took action and got sold off the idea
    of "quitting".

That's a pretty high conversion rate at 40%. lol

Kind of crazy how the gradualization was done on the
prospect's side by asking the correct questions and
    pushing the right emotional buttons...

Now let's see how we can swipe that.......

Good video - it's interesting how easy it was to have the smokers re-examine the realities of smoking and confront their own denials by the use of a proxy subject (the child).

If the child had merely come up and lectured the adult before handing them the brochure, the armor of self-justification would probably have come up. This approach completely sidesteps that by focusing away from the adult smoker.

Interesting psychology at work here...hmm, how else could it be used?

Perhaps something like a severely overweight child begging overweight adults to buy him more candy?

My thoughts exactly! I've just shared this with my sister who works for a non-profit organization in the hope it may inspire some ideas they can use for their work.

      Excellent video.
