Hi guys

I am looking for a copywriter for my site.

My niche is estate planning and there are several products that I want to sell - from my ebook on various estate planning strategies (such as cutting someone out of your will, to protecting your inheritance from challenges) to my estate planning advice.

I am prepared to pay up to around $4k for a copywriter or some sort of profit share arrangement (please include the conversion rates you were able to achieve for your previous clients).

Could you either PM or email me at jeff.chung AT proplanprofessional DOT com DOT au.

Thank you

      Dude,

No offense, but I'd consider a post like this to be a spam.

In reply to the OP, I'm sure there are a lot of good copywriters
available right here... on this forum.

Kevin Rogers has written quite a bit on real estate I think.
So you could contact him and find out if he'd like to do your
      project.

On that note, may I ask you how quickly you need the copy done?

Good copywriters are always booked a few weeks to a few months
in advance. I don't accept projects too many months in advance
because I work on my own products also, still I'm booked
till the first week of April.

So you might want to keep that in mind and plan your project accordingly.

      Hope this helps,

      Dean Dhuli.

        Thanks Dean.

My project has already gone overtime and over budget! Mostly this is due to the web guy not pulling his weight. Then again I have pretty high expectations ...

This is my first project, so I really appreciate your advice.

    Hi Jeff;

I've sent you an email, feel free to let me know if you have any questions.

    To Dean Dhuli;

I don't really see that odesk message as a spam post. (Unless that guy is the owner of odesk). I think it could be helpful for someone who wants a cheap sales letter written. Do you want to share why it struck you as spam?

So you think it's a good idea for members to not recommend any of the copywriters who belong to this forum -- including you -- and go to another website to hire cheap ESL copywriters?

I'd say 99.999% of the copywriters on this board would disagree with you. One of the themes of this forum is Warriors doing business with Warriors.

Take a look in the WSO section and you'll usually find someone running a cheap copywriting offer.

I do think the OP is on the right track: Find someone with an established track record to hire and pay them appropriately for their help.

What are you talking about? Where do I say to not recommend warrior forum copywriters?

I have no problem whatsoever with anybody recommending odesk
      as an option.

My problem was with the kind of post he made and the terminology
      used in it.

Now you read that message again and tell me - doesn't it have the
DNA of a spam post all over it? Didn't it make you feel like he had
some hidden motive behind referring you to odesk?

Then why shouldn't anybody mistake it for a spam?

That's what I was telling him.

Moreover, like Mike already said, why not refer people to
someone you know from this forum instead of sending them
away to a freelancing job site.

After all, there are a lot of $97 and $127 copy WSO's running
already. And you don't want it to go cheaper than this, trust me.

I agree the language kind of makes it sound Spammy, and I agree that it's bad advice for the OP, but it's not an affiliate link so there were no forum rules broken, as far as I can tell...

You know what Dean? You're right! I simply did not read it carefully the first time. Now I can see what you mean.

Nikhitalonely; I don't think you actually meant to spam this forum, your link isn't acutally clickable or even an affiliate link. However the language you have used does come across as unusual. Perhaps english is not your native language. Most warrior members including me will be glad to offer you any help on using the site.

One thing I'll add is that asking a copywriter to reveal their conversion rates is rather like asking the length of their penis...

There are far too many variables involved to judge someone on conversions alone. For a start, where's the traffic coming from? Previous customers, their optin list, or PPC? Big difference in expected conversions. Likewise the product.

Estate planning is prevention, not cure. Cure always sells better, so I'd be surprised if ANYONE can get you more than 4%, regardless of what conversion they'd achieved for other products and markets.

Basically all I'm saying is don't get hung up on previous results, just look to see if they are a good fit.
