This is an awesome link.

-seomaster-, if you are reading this, this link points to when a copywriter is worth the money.

It's when the copywriter knows what elements to test and what how best to phrase/place each element.

Because the raw truth is that even "A" level copywriters don't know what will work for a particular offer.

Rather, they know what's worked in the past, and tests those tweaks in the copy they write.

One reason why "A" charge so much is the client has to have enough money in the first place to statistically test the data. Which takes money.

However, testing should be done, even if you're a "D" level writer.

I'm always surprised at what the data reveals.

Nice examples.

Even though I've been doing it for a while, I find copywriting to still be fascinating. There's so many facets, and so many proven tactics that work, that your brain can't recall it all. Add to that the fact that the playing field is constantly shifting as your audience and the zeitgeist evolves.

Another analogy: it's like trying to be the coach of a football team. Even if you were considered a genius, the variables are always changing. You need to have knowledge of what works as well as the tactical ability to shift your plays to match the evolution of the game.

There's always a beauty in the art of copywriting, even if at times it maddens you.

I believe you must remain fluid.

Its critical to be able to change on the fly and have the ability
to adjust your game plan based on what is happening in the
present moment.

That's why no matter how long you've been doing something,
you should always be learning and upgrading your knowledge
base so you can recognize when to shift your tactics.

Very good read.

I like part about believable testimonials because I know
others, like myself, have their BS meters on high alert.
