Just passing this on,
as it may be useful to someone.

I don't know the guy or his reputation.

I read he is Eban Pagan's copywriter.

All this means, do your research.

Anyway, here's the pitch he put out on his Twitter page
at the beginning of this month.

His name is Craig Clemens

"Seeking Copywriting Apprentice. If you love business, sales, psychology, writing and money then let's talk. Strong grammar/punctuation a must, but selling skills more important than traditional writing skills. Must commit to studying hard - for the next 3 years all of your leisure time will be spent writing and reading marketing books. After 6 months you start getting paid, 6-figure potential after 1 year and after 3 years you will make unlimited amounts of money while working on your own schedule from anywhere in the world. Sell me on taking you on as my apprentice (but keep it short and sweet) - craigclemens at g mail."

Best,
Ewen

  • Thanks for this.

As an apprentice copywriter who is just starting to land clients,

    I thought I'd give it a shot.

    Just hoping it's real!
  • LOL I think I'll just get paid now thank you very much!
    • [ 1 ] Thanks

    • And after 6 months you might still be getting paid $197 a letter, whereas the apprentice might be making a tad more.

I know little about Pagan or his company company, but I bet he's smart enough to pay his copywriters well. Assuming they're good.

And that old "Double Your Dating" squeeze page copy was brilliant. "How to Know When a Girl Wants to be Kissed" (I think)...

Seems like a good opportunity to me.

  • Damn right!

Oh, and for the record, I haven't worked with Eben since 2009. But will always be grateful for the experience
  • Banned
Thanks for the mention, I have a friend looking for an apprenticeship
  • UPDATE: Craig was good enough provide a detailed and insightful "group response" email to all those who'd applied.

Even though the position for his first apprentice has been filled,

he will be be looking for yet another apprentice shortly.

Then if all goes well, another in 6 months and so on!

And, to help those who entered, he provided a link to a free pdf version of "The Ultimate Sales Letter"

Thanks Craig, perfect timing with that
