Is This Hypnotic Selling Or What?

Hey Guys,

I got an email about this offer recently. (Disclaimer: I'm not promoting this. No affiliate link)

I've heard a lot of good things about this guy and I know he knows his stuff.

However I just wanted to know what you think, from a copywriting perspective about his hypnotic technique, the voice intonation, pace, pitch and the final 20 seconds.

The final 20 seconds of this video remind me so much of that video I posted up recently which used a similar hypnotic selling technique.

Now when I click my fingers you will...

Tell me.............what..................you.......... .....think........

Right..............now............!

Thanks

Its a strategy that's not really new, dazzle people with ultra high, possibly exaggerated profit earnings, then show them or tell them how to get those profits, then convince them to invest in them. May not be hypnotic, could possibly subliminal messaging, but i think it's just a marketing strategy

Well actually the copy is pretty decent and typical of the IM niche. He's got a lot of authority and proof going for him. I don't think he's exaggerating his claims. He's a veteran in this game.

I was really looking for feedback on the hypnotic part as it seems to be full on in this pitch.

Not sure how effective that will be.

If I were going to use my hypnosis skills, I would go with something like ....

In fact, I might try this. I have a success rate of hypnotising people of about 75% or greater.

What I found that works great is to first say what you want them to do, then say that it is starting to happen, then it is happening, then it happened.

    It goes like this.

I want you to relax your leg muscles. Just let them relax. Yes, they are starting to relax. You can feel them relaxing. They are relaxing, relaxing, relaxing, and they are relaxed. Yes. Totally relaxed.

Works great. The word "yes" worsk very well with hypnosis. Now how to convert that to a sales pitch?

I want you to buy my art course. Just buy it. Yes, it will change your life. You are about to click the buy now button. Yes, just click it. You will now be a better artist. Yes.

I went to a personal development seminar once where they did something similar to what you describe and it did relax the person.

This is the video I posted recently which uses a similar technique.

Once on the main sales page, click the close browser window button to exit the page. The video will then show up as you try to exit the page. Then click "stay on page".

      It uses:
      • Direct suggestion which is similar to a call to action.
      • Repetition.
      • And Reverse Psychology.

Warning: It can be quite addictive as it's on an automatic loop setting. So do remember to press the stop button when you've had enough.

Personally I didn't think the sales video or copy was very compelling at all. He didn't have any point of difference. It should be "is this Generic Selling or what?"

    Interesting feedback. Thanks everyone.

I think it's worth mentioning that the dude has a masters in Psychology and if he's been doing this since 1978 then he's got to be doing something right...

    Right?

You're right, sometimes it doesn't mean much.

I just mentioned it as it might be one of the reasons behind his huge success in IM. So in this case it might mean a lot.
