Translucent envelopes - questions

I'm working on a promotion for a client that would use translucent (see-through) envelopes.

I haven't seen any of these in a long time, though. Anyone have a particular supplier or mail house to recommend for these?

Is the addressing generally done on the inside or the outside of the envelope?

Any memorable campaigns you've seen using see-through envelopes?

    it was the rage for wedding invitations about fifteen years ago. Ink jets back then would smear, so you had to go laser. Use the faux vellum. Glasine is crinkly looks cheap.
