Copywriting: The easy way to stop your fear of it (for newbies)

Some big lessons I’ve learned (from a newbies perspective):

Copywriting is important, yes. But split testing is also important.

So the big lesson for me was: Don’t stress out about copywriting. -- I was in a mastermind that was run by a master copywriter, I could never get off the ground…Because I couldn’t write good copy and was painfully aware of it. Fear stopped me in my tracks.

But the answer is simple, when you realize that you are going to be testing your copy, it makes no sense to worry about it.

Just do it, write something and send it out, and measure how it is received.

When you test you find that sometimes things don’t make sense (in a common sense kind of way). So be it, just go with the flow and keep split testing.

That, as we're told often, is the secret to making big bucks.

I'd like to hear you master copywriters thoughts on this concept, it took me months to come to this conclusion. It was definitely an Aha moment for me!!!

Edit, Edit: You learn something everyday; subject line can be edited using "go advanced". Thanks for the tip Raydal

I agree with you that with Copywriting, you just have to do it. The first ad copy you make may not be perfect but at least you have overcome that fear. Fear paralyzes anyone and won't get you anywhere. In the end, practice makes perfect.

Split testing really is habit for a copywriter. I've written some stellar stuff that didn't convert as well as stuff which I was half-joking when I created. Also, if you're a smart person, it can be hard to get down on the "30% brain" level that most people are on when reading your copy. Split testing helps you do that. Thanks for the reminder.
