I support various causes - but all of them have some form of meaning...

Regular giving goes out to an orphan and each year, there are always water projects and income generation projects I do...

All of them in the third world. Namely Africa and the Subcontinent.

When I give presents, I always think long and hard what to give - if the person I'm giving to has everything, I give charity gifts.

I've given olive trees, eye surgery, chickens, clothing for kids and last year, I gave my sister a fluffy sheep which went to a poor family in Pakistan.

This coming year, I have a simple ambition: I want to have my OWN charity - income generation project project for single mothers in the third world.

When my aunt was diagnosed with lymphatic cancer at the age of 28 and then soon after my father was diagnosed with stomach cancer, I contributed to Imran Khan's cancer hospital as well as Macmillan.

It's not possible for me to even begin mentioning how many charities I give to - wherever their is need and I have the means, I give.

My sister works for a national charity which is raising money for the first ever women's shelter for Muslim women - we raised £110,000 in ONE hour during a fundraising dinner at the British Concorde - I was genuinely awed by business people donating £10,000 at a time...

One day, I'll be the one doing that - able to give so much without batting an eyelid.

I have genuine awe for people in that position and it's something I REALLY inspire to...

Mostly local stuff to help feed hungry people, and anything that has to do with helping kids. I also like to know how much is actually being put to good use, not operational expenses.

One charity I admire a lot is Al's Angels. They help kids that have literally been abandoned by their families because they have rare diseases. What I like best is 100% of all donations go to help the kids. Al DiGuido ironically is a direct response marketing legend and responsible for what we know today as modern email marketing.

Mostly the RSPCA and related animal rescue shelters.

When it comes to people I can be pretty unforgiving, but I've never met a bad animal. Just animals raised badly.

Which I could say the same for people but that has not been my experience.

Always looking for badass direct-response copywriters. PM me if we don't know each other and you're looking for work.

Among other causes, I give to my local food bank, my local ambulance service and the Red Cross because I know how important these causes are to my neighbors who depend on them. These organizations literally save lives.
