Where can I find a personal and inexpensive copywriter?

I've used fiverr many times and have worked with some decent writers. My problem is that I cant work with these folks one on one, and have to stay within the $5 model.

What I would really like to find is a personal copywriter that would be priced comparable to fiverr (okay, a little bit more). That could do say 500 or so word articles and spin them (yes spinning considered extra). Also and separately, to write unique web page content.

Certainly, I'm not implying that I expect to pay $5 for these services...just looking for some advice on where I can go to get good quality for assignments similar to those listed above...and for a terrific price.

    Er...pretty much. Yes, you are. You want personal service that actually makes a difference? Good quality copy?

    Not anywhere near that price range. What you seem to be looking for is cheap work that passes a basic spelling/grammar check. Or we have very different definitions of what makes "good quality."

    Buying contents from freelance copywriters would only work for you and your site if you know the writers personally or you are confident of their work. And you really have to compensate their work. Otherwise, you will end up getting a bunch of crappy content and boring topics.

    If you really want to try using a service from an inexpensive copywriter, you can go to oDesk.com and you might find what you are looking for. Just check first the profiles, work history and feedback of the person you are looking for before you hire one.

    It sounds like you are using the wrong word here ... you are after an article writer vs a copywriter. A world of difference there as copywriters are concerned with copy that gets your product(s) sold. And this is a copywriting forum!

    And it also sounds like if you are using fiverr, you are not looking for high quality articles.

    Finally, this is not the place to find what you are looking for. Try the "Articles" forum or "Warriors for Hire" and you will have much more success there.
