Mark Andrews bullied me and WF won't do anything about it.

"Teacher, Markie called me a doodiehead!"

Let's see... You dropped an F-bomb on Mark, and called another member an a** h***. You accused Mark of being disrespectful of your religious views, and ignored me when I PM'd you asking how that post fit your description.

You posted multiple comments in the WSO section that were abusive of sellers whose products you had not bought, and you used oversized, colored fonts to do it.

You posted a previous accusation that Mark was bullying you, and re-posted this one when the first got deleted.

Anyone want to add up the rule violations in those actions, and explain them to this fellow?

Should I assume from this that you believe I should be forgiving of over the top profanity? Probably not. That would be an unusual view, given your alleged concern over Mark having supposedly disrespected your religious views.

This is the copywriting section, sir. It's the roughest corner of our little playground, and for good reason. If you can't hack a little controversy, you have no business in this part of the forum.

There are limits, though, and you have exceeded them. The ONLY action I listed in my first response that wasn't a violation of the rules was ignoring my question. That was just dumb, since having a moderator asking such things is the surest way to get something done about a problem. Assuming there really is a problem...

Ask him why you think he was being disrespectful of your religious views? Or why you've been swearing at other members?

Or maybe why you have continued to troll the WSO section, even after my first post in this thread? For example, this comment which you posted at 6:08 AM, eastern: "Are you willing to give me money for free? If you're so rich, why are you selling on WF?"

Should I ask Mark about that? It wasn't his offer, but maybe he's finished his clairvoyance and ESP courses.

Just as a matter of curiosity... Am I the only one who finds the disconnect between the first and last sentences there a bit ironic?

Edit: Oh yeah... He accuses me of being a "soviet communist" for "suppressing" HIS free speech, but he wants me to stop Mark from being allowed that same privilege.

Troll was my guess, too.

Realistically, there is no such thing as a lifelong ban any more. Not if you're willing to use proxies and fake names, and pay for the privilege each time.

The disincentive is the inability to ever develop a reputation in your real name. That only matters to people who have something to gain from a long-term investment in the business.

There's been a lot of speculation about the reasoning behind the registration fee. The primary was, obviously, to keep out the casual trolls, rent-a-kid link droppers, and illiterate affiliate spammers. That has obviously worked. The new accounts have stopped, and they're slowly burning through the old ones they created before the fee was put in place.

The evidence of this is clear in the going rate for "aged" WF accounts in some of the less-scrupulous marketplaces where such things are bought, sold, and traded.

A few people have gotten on my radar for offering to buy them. They're now on permanent one-strike status. (No, I haven't warned them.) Any mistakes at all, even very small ones, and their primary accounts - the ones attached to their real names and reputations here - go away for good.

Using sock puppet accounts to post fake testimonials is getting just a little more difficult and expensive with every week that goes by. Eventually, it will require doing things that qualify as prosecutable fraud; the type financial institutions take serious note of.

And these people fit patterns.

  Turns out Dorian has worked himself out of participating in WF - his loss. However in the original thread in question (concerning hypnotic copywriting) which I assume was what he is griping about here, there were several responses by Mark which imho crossed the line of being in a "rough corner".
  
  In fact, the topic was interesting to me because I had read a book with the same title before as well, and was interested in reading some pro copywriters' comments about it. Instead that thread skewed to unnecessary and personal attacks. It was eventually deleted, but from what I remember, it was Mark who skewed it that way, not the Dude who got banned.
  
  As for this thread, it too wreaks of unprofessional conduct to me.

  First I pointed him to the search function since if he had used this he would have found the answers to what he was searching for.
  
  This given suggestion was very firmly rebutted by the OP in no uncertain terms.
  
  I then posted up a link to another thread (Hypnotic Copywriting Duh!) which contained one hec of a large number of replies pertaining to the subject matter in hand. Despite trying to help him out with this suggestion - Dorian1 once again replied with an extremely rude remark.
  
  Given the fact a few of his posts had also been removed (on other threads) for similar rude comments or for breaking the rules, he was then given a warning to abide by the forum rules by myself and Doug Barber.
  
  Not heeding these warnings he still carried on and in fact started to become rather rude with Paul Myers, which lets face it, is going to go down with him like a lead balloon.
  
  Heeding none of the given advice, retaliating in the most childish manner possible, posting up a stream of offensive remarks including interfering with one WSO and for arguing against Paul - he was subsequently banned.
  
  I personally enjoy helping other members of this forum. Sure, a few people seem to have a perpetual problem with me but for the most part, from messages received, I'm often thanked for taking a good part of my day out to help others.

I think banning that tosser was the best thing to do. You can't go around insulting respected members of the forum, and that includes the admins and mods as well as the veteran members.
I would even be inclined to delete the entire thread so he doesn't even get that space to air his BS grievances.

The OP has written 24 posts in 2.5 years. He obviously has nothing of value to contribute here anyway so send him to the graveyard of deleted threads and members, never to darken the doorway of the Warrior forum again.

You should have seen some of the stuff I deleted before he started this business. It was... foul.

When he claimed someone was disrespecting his religious views, I started paying attention. The old-timers and the folks from OT can tell you... I have a special hammer for folks who do that.

But Mark didn't. The "Little Prince" was playing silly buggers with that charge, in an effort to screw with someone with whom he disagreed, and he tried to use the mods as the screwdriver.

That seldom ends well.
