Brain Food To Stay Alert

I've just started taking a herbal tea that's a mix of
black tea, cinnamon, ginger, cloves, nutmeg and black pepper.

Has a beautiful aroma.

Here's the research on cinnamon for brain function.

Cinnamon Health Benefits Come from Antioxidants

Since we use our brains more than brawn,
seems like a good thing to nurture it, not abuse it through substance abuse.

Cloves may help in suppressing the desire for alcohol.

Anyways, may be an alternative to the booze, cigs, Red Bull and Monster energy drinks.

Best,
Ewen

Thank you for this informative post Ewen. Will do some further reading on this topic. I love drinking tea and I might try this regimen one of these days.

Anything with B12 usually does the trick for me

Or even better, getting a slight buzz allows me to work at my full potential.. as long as I control myself and stop at the buzz.

I agree Ewen. It's all too easy to neglect our greatest assets and allies.

While we're on the subject, we should stay good and hydrated too.

And here's some more food for a healthy diet high in conversions...

4 Healthy "Copywriter Snacks" Easily Made in Minutes...This Quick List of 4 Snacks Saves You Money, Keeps Your Waistline Trim, Saves You Time and Gives You the Energy You Need to Maximize Productivity in the Copy Lab...

*Each of these 4 snacks had to be quick and easy to make, healthy to eat, low in fat and give you long lasting natural energy to make the list.
They're relatively affordable too for those who watch the pocketbook/wallet with the waistline.

1 Oatmeal. Can nuke it quick. Cooks in 2 minutes. Plenty of carbs for sustained energy. Low in fat. Some protein to preserve lean muscle mass.
Fill up the measuring cup with 2 cups of the oats and adjust the amount of water (or milk) according to your thickness preference.

Maybe add some natural sugar, butter, walnuts, banana slices and a dash of cinnamon for some flavor.

It's usually enough caloric supplement to make sure I stay on target to hit my daily caloric goals and at the same time, tides me over from meal to meal.

    2. Another snack I enjoy making is a chocolate protein shake with milk. I add some peanut butter, oatmeal and banana slices.

About three of those a day is enough to supplement protein needs combined with the other sources.

3 A can of albacore tuna is also a healthy, quick and easy fix while on the net. Contains about 22 grams of protein per can with zero fat!

4 I'll also pick up a couple of bags of boneless, skinless chicken breasts. Cook them several breasts at a time for about an hour.
Store them in the fridge. (Usually 20-26 grams of protein with only 1-3 grams of fat per breast!)

Then when hungry, now you can just heat a couple of them in the microwave for a minute, slap two slices of whole wheat bread,
a slice of cheese, turkey bacon and honey mustard sauce. Another healthy mini-meal made in a flash.

All these snacks had to be quick and easy to make, healthy to eat, low in fat and give long lasting energy to make the list.

Bon Appetit and here's to higher response! Cheers

Sounds like a pretty good hook. We could even swipe the famous headline...

How to eat right and increase conversions

Oh heck, let's put a little jet fuel into that headline...

How to eat potato chips, steak subs, and corn dogs all the live-long day... and exponentially explode your conversions overnight

Yeah man. Now all we need is a product.

Cinnamon also increases insulin sensitivity which can have a whole range
of positive follow on effects including increasing blood flow to the brain.

Fish oil is also a great supplement (although you want to make sure it's
been purified as much as possible).

And the biggest of all is a diet high in low glycemic fruit and vegetables.

    Kindest regards,
