    These types of pages have been running since 08 or even earlier. A bunch of the bigger advertisers got nailed by the FTC. It's debatable whether these kinds of landing pages are even compliant with FTC laws. Most of these people running these sites are just small fish who took over from the big guys running in 08 and 09 who got hit by the FTC.

    Needless to say it works very well, but if you plan on doing something similar you better get yourself a lawyer to check your website. The next wave of FTC lawsuits should be coming out soon. I wouldn't be surprised to see some of these cats on that list.

      They have some big bold letters at the bottom about how it is just an advertisement, maybe that is their saving grace?

      Although I don't see anything along the lines of "results to generally expect"...
