  • The comments on the page are funnier than the ads. It turned into a feminism debate (shocking)

  • Oh... I thought it said "sexy" ads.

    Bummer.

  • Is it wrong that I love them?

    Probably.

    But I do.

Ads like these could work well today in certain niches. Dating. Automotive. Fitness. The blowback could be worth millions in free exposure.

    • And? There are so many ways to gain exposure aside from causing outrage and harming people. How about doing some good? What a terrible world it would be if all marketers thought like this. Let's use black face for a photo shoot. Dress up like a Native American chief and walk around in panties for a runway show. Shoot down women some more, because they don't already have enough to contend with.

Oh wait, people already do all these things and worse. It's just not funny to me at all.

Arfa, sadly I see plenty of ads that are just as ridiculous as these even in the modern day. Ironically enough, many of them are from the fashion industry where the creators are essentially insulting the very demographic they want to attract.

  • Life is a tragedy to those that feel.
Life is a comedy to those that think.

  • And yet it's impossible to think without feeling. Unless one is a sociopath.
  • ...I get this feeling that Mr Pusateri and Miss Kryza are not about to launch a JV with a pic of Laura lugging the latest high tech vacuum around the house making the floors gleam.
