Was doing some reading this morning and came across this old blog post from Jim Curley...Discussing how it's a delicate balance when writing to discuss who you are and most importantly - essentially - how that bit of information directly relates to your prospects' needs.

All of you battle-hardened veterans out there already know this...But I thought it would be good food for thought for some of the less experienced folks working on their own copy around here!

    Lockheed… World Savings… Bechtel… Lawrence Livermore National Laboratories… Morton Thiokol… Bank of the West… FMC… McDonnell Douglas…

… and a host of other weighty clients… any of whom could’ve casually activated an atomic military laser beam from their office, bounced it off a low-orbit satellite, and had me evaporated right where I sat."

    Love this stuff.
