Women's C-Section Scars
Not because she thought it was a great "ad."
Instead, she felt it summed up her own plight as a stay-at-home mother of three demanding little ones.
This really connected with her. Lots of little details hit home.
The book club wine excuse... comparing c-section scars with other women (!)... and a lot more.
Anyway, just a creative ad approach that I saw connecting in real-time.
The lesson is that when trying to empathize, you gotta really dig for the juicy details of a prospect's inner-world to make them believe you truly, "get them."
For instance, back when I worked at a sucky job, I remember reading a letter that talked about "you pull into the parking lot at your job and you just feel nauseous."
Or something like that, and it really hit home. That was exactly how I felt. This guy "got me."
So, watch this video. It's good fun and a case study in mining for those juicy details.
