Experienced Copy Writers: Can you explain to me the idea of a pre-sell page?

what are your techniques in a proper pre-sell? what would a pre-sell consist of?

any help would be much appreciated

How about an improper description?

"Pre-sell" gets people ready to buy before they hit the "sell" state (although it's all pretty much a sell state, right? Hmm.) Anyway...

Since you have your "who" - the person who will see your pre-sell, and since you aren't yet ready to *sell* sell (you don't want to reveal the how, just the bow-wow, not the buy now) your pre-sell delivers the what and why, when and where (although those may be repeated later with the how).

Feel free to ignore...I'm having a rather silly day today. :-)

Thanks for the feedback, the more I look into this preselling seems like the small tweek that almost nobody does that can have a HUGE impact on conversions. I found a youtube video by Russell Brunson that talks about presells
