Sidebar Opt In Rate of 12% - Rate My Copy!

The sidebar of my website is converting at 12%. This is mostly traffic from forums like warrior forum and a few others.

I was wondering if you guys would consider looking at my opt-in box and giving me some tips on how to improve it.

Also, is 12% good for a blog sidebar? My other sites (iGaming niche) perform lower than this. With opt-in rates of roughly 7%, but the forms are given less exposure.

Obviously the rate will be lower than a squeeze page. Anyway,

Here is the URL: Make Money Online Ninja Style | MakeMoneyNinja.com

My thoughts:

- eBooks looks unprofessional (needs a better one design).
- Copy is ok. Headline ok (Appeals to self interest.. also "instant and easy").

No idea how to improve. All suggestions welcome.

Well the book image talks about niche domination which sounds like it has nothing to do with rankings...

...so maybe you want to change the title of the book to something like: Rankings Domination.

Other than that - since it's just a blog I don't think there's really anything else you could try. If you want to build a list aggressively then build a squeeze page and throw traffic at it.

I would try to boil it down and find the bare-bones of what your big promise really is.

I have a rule of thumb as I decipher people and analyze marketing.

If they're keeping secret, something they should be bragging about. I become suspicious.

    For example when you say
"This is the EXACT METHOD I used to build my $10'000+ a month SEO business. Enter your e-mail below to get started now!"

    What are you really promising?

Your headline says "instant" but what does that really mean?

How much time does it take to reach x, y, and z degrees of success?

    Get specific, brag about it.

I opted in because you write great articles. If I only saw the sidebar, I wouldn't have opted in.

    Notes:

    1. Ebook is cheesy-lookin

    2. I don't know who you are (i.e., first-time visitors won't care about "your" method)

    3. I'm a bit turned off by "free Google traffic." It's as if you are looking down on people. I know what SEO is. Your visitors probably know what SEO is. Why dumb it down?

    4. "#1 rankings in Google... again and again!" No idea what this means. How does #1 have multiple rankings? Why am I doing it again and again? Does that mean I lose "rankings" quickly, or are you assuming I have multiple sites I need to rank. If the former, why? If the latter, why can't you just assume I'll apply the same, single method to all my sites?

TLDR; make it simple, but don't dumb it down.

its an internet marketing offer... to me, immediately none of the numbers matter.... because you're selling to other people in the same niche you're in.

    its the niche.
