Do You Purposely Train Your Peers To Read What You Say?

I was curious how many copywriters have as one of their goals to get your peers to read/comment on your posts?

Most of us here saw it happen when a "newcomer" popped in and through his copy, got some copywriters here to almost automatically respond to his comments.

And presenting one or two of his "proof words" was all it took after the setup to get more comments.

After some months after that, some good information started to be posted.

In hindsight, the post sequence basically followed the same form AIDA as a sales letter and I'm pretty sure now it didn't happen by accident.

Fascinating what can be learned here from the things not said .

I think I've started maybe two threads since I joined. Mostly I come to read what my peers are saying and consider new perspectives/learn something I wouldn't have otherwise.
