Need help with a tagline...are you up for it?

I'm getting ready to release a running/fitness ecourse called: "How I Lost 10 LBS and Still Drank Beer" and I need a tagline to put in the graphics. I don't have the copy done yet, or I'd use something from there.

I'm thinking about a line that mentions you don't have to give everything up to get in shape and be fit, but I can't think of anything. I just don't want to go the route of "Do nothing and lose all your fat!" Or..."The Ultimate Fitness System!"

Any ideas?

  • Hey Nathan!

    How about...

No need to give up one "six pack" for another!

    or

Keep your "six pack." Finally a real fitness progam

    or

Getting in shape is hard enough...keep that 6 Pack!

or, better still, tag your program with...

"The Real Man's Guide to Fitness!" <--- I like

    All the Best,
    Doug

    • Quite simply...you rock!

Killer, now I can't choose LOL

      Thanks,

      Nathan
  • Doug gave some awesome answers there. I personally like the line about a six-pack, I think it's really clever comparing the "abs" to the "beer"

  • Hi,

    Thoughts..

    Who's your market?

Guys who want to drink beer and still have rock hard abs?

    If so...Go. For. It.

If not...if, maybe, you're casting your net a little wider...think again.

A quirky li'l tagline targeting beer drinkers might alienate your larger market.

    Your prospect's mind...maybe....

Why do I want a "6-pack"...? (Hint: Think, girls and bragging rights).

How does your product help me get one, anyways...?

Who does it help? Is it aimed at me..or that other guy...?

Why should I buy it from you...? Who the hell are you anyway...?

Why are you any different from all the other BS snake-oil scammers I've read...?

How long 'til I get my abs, dude...? Really...

    OK, What's the cost...?

What if it doesn't work for me? What do I do then...?

Who has it already helped? Can you show me some proof...?

How quickly do I get what I bought...?

After that, how quickly will the chicks be falling at my feet, wanting a piece of me...?

    Where do I order...?

    HOW do I order...?

You're on the level, right? Just wanted to make sure.

OK, I've ordered...you'd better deliver on your promise, Bud. I'm counting on you.

    -----------------

That -- in a nutshell -- is the internal conversation YOUR prospect is having with himself/you.

    Answer his questions...and you're golden. Don't, and you're brass.

    'Nuff said.

    HTH,
    Steve

  • I wrote a weight loss article once and the title was:

'Lose weight without losing your mind'

It's short and sums up the concerns I feel.

Meanwhile when I read your 'beer and weight loss' header, I just think of how much MORE wight you could've lost if you had given up beer, or I think maybe you don't drink much beer anyway, which makes the point about 'beer' rather meaningless.

You need to be more specific and say

'10 pints a day and still losing weight!'
