Is it inappropriate to inquire about copywriters for hire in here?

I've looked around the "for hire" forum, but not much about those who write copy. Just looking for some help with a tiny piece of copy really.

I want to improve and rewrite this short piece below if anyone has any suggestions here in the thread or is interested in reworking it for a fee?

The goal is to convey the benefits of leasing an existing top ranked website for a local small business, rather than acquiring a designer and seo expert and waiting to have exposure in their market space.

Thank you for your help!

suppose I sell caterpillar tractors? Will your method bring me ten
    buyers in the next month?

    We both know it won't.

You are emphasizing the wrong things.

I do rewrites. You can PM me or call me from the copy site in
    my sig.

I just looked at your copy. It definitely needs a rewrite to make it sound more compelling. Shoot me a PM, if you need help.

This definitely needs to be targeted to whatever niche your site ranks for.

Contact Loren or Christie, they'll treat you right.

Heh, that is what I was trying to avoid.

I can extract the core motivators for individual niches, but some help with a blanket approach is what I was going for.

To say I have 30 sites waiting for this would be an understatement.

I would like to see if there is a way to add a blanket offer to each one and become "somewhat" effective.

But I get what you mean, and that is a good point.

      Thank You

I recommend listening to the experts.

My 2 cent comment is if you change "at least 10" to "more" it stays generic. I would question saving "597/mo" in SEO.

It's very common when starting out to try to cover a broad base. You quickly learn that when you try to be everything to everyone, you end up being nothing to nobody.

The best approach is to find a niche where there's a demand. And not too broad a niche either.

Good copy is focused on its target market. If you don't know who you're sending your message to, you won't know what to say or how to say it.

      I hope this is helpful.

I don't mind you hyping your product up in sales copy, but OVER-hyping (lying) is the fastest way to lose a sale in my mind.

-Since when does it cost $45/year to register a website?
-Since when does it cost $50/month for hosting?
-Since when does it cost $597/month for SEO?

Or maybe you're not all hype...am I the only one who doesn't pay this much?

    Just to butt in here...

Copy is only part of the puzzle. I have no idea where you are advertising or who to, but I would assume that could definitely be a big part of the problem.

The second problem is I have no idea what the hell you're supposed to be selling.

Hehe, all valid points.... I'm getting some help with it now, though I love what different opinions bring to the table. Thank you for everyone's contributions btw!

@chad- Small businesses get ripped off left and right. It is not uncommon to find a company paying HUNDREDS per month for hosting (single shared hosting account, mind you). I'm never said that's how much it should cost, just the maximum savings.

    Domain regs are no different.

SEO, on the other hand, depending on what industry it's in, that could be low.

@daniel- lol that was the main issue... these ads go at the top of sites available for lease. Say you wanted to do local lead gen or lease a full blown site out for "Mackay Florists." You have pre built sites that dominate the market space and wanted to test out an ad at the top of each one.

    That's what I'm doing here...
