Getting Email Autoresponder Clients

I'm an email autoresponder copywriter who's been coached by Jay White. What's the best way to get clients to get some experience with response rates? I've had luck with email marketing in the past but it's not going as well this time. I know autoresponders are a great marketing tool but it seems like not so many companies are open to using them.

I'm also trying to help a new copywriter as she is in the travel and tourism and real estate niches.

Any advice is appreciated...thank you.

    1. Sign-up for email newsletters in the markets you're interested in writing for.

    2. As you start to get emails from publishers, read them. Look for opportunities to improve them.

    3. When you see an opportunity for improvement, let the publisher know. Send an email back with your email marketing improvement ideas.

When I see opportunity in email, I don't sell myself, but you could. I just link to my website when I sign off on the email. I prefer them focusing on the value/content/idea they received. Not my sales message.

They'll reach out if they're interested, depends a lot if your ideas are any good. (Obviously.)

    Good luck,

I ain't no body but I'm guessing it can't hurt to have your own list and start sending out your own emails so that you start to build a following... who may in turn become clients or know someone who is looking for clients.

But whadoIkno... I got me a slave job

To be honest, I'd love to help you out. But, I'm not sure what your question is. Your post is unclear. Could you clarify?

Hmmm... This seems too simple: Advertise & build a list!

Write killer ad copy that drives people interested in copywriting help to your site, write killer landing/squeeze page copy that converts that traffic into email subscribers and then convert email subscribers interested in copywriting into paying clients with more amazing copy.

LOL! I like the way you put it!

It also helps to have reasonable prices. Once people get results, you might be able to ratchet up the prices.

      Also, just wondering...

Doesn't Jay White include some help with getting clients in his coaching? He should know, and if I were to pay someone a lot of money for copywriting coaching, I'd also expect some help with getting clients. Or is that a separate course/coaching program?

  • Thanks everyone, been away for a while for surgery and I'm just getting back online now.

Dante, thanks for your assistance. My question is regarding an autoresponder writing business I'm putting together, I've was wondering does anyone think there's enough business in the real estate niche to keep someone busy with copywriting?

PM me if you're interested in a smooth and authentically awesome way to land new clients.

I've used this in a different segment of the consulting market that would surely work in offering email copywriting/marketing services.

Take care and have a kick ass weekend.
