Interesting Niche... Good name for my book.... Need Creative Ideas Please...

Hi guys,

I've been on here with a few previous threads about my book on teaching people how to play guitar.

Well, I wrote a second book which is a "How to get laid with guitar guide" which first teaches you how to play the guitar (the absolute basics) and then the second half it tells you EXACTLY (step by step) how to use those skills and meet girls, seduce girls and make you look like a rockstar with those few guitar basics I teach you in the first half.

The first title was:

"How to get laid with and meet girls with a few basic guitar skills"

That didn't sell...

I've made the cover much more exciting and I'm back trying to drive more sales but I can't decide on a title...

This is what I have so far... any better?

"ALL GUITARISTS GET GIRLS: The Step-by-Step Guide To Meeting And Seducing Any Girl With A Few Basic Guitar Skills"


Any Ideas for a better title? something that grabs attention? etc.

Most guys want to learn guitar to hookup with girls... thats the reason for the blending of the niches

    I'm not trying to put a damper on your idea/product. In fact, I applaud you for getting off your ass and actually creating products.

    I think you're going to get a lot of resistance on that title.

    ALL guitarists get girls? No, I'm not buying it

    Seduce ANY girl? No, I'm not buying it. That girl that friendzoned me hard won't give a flying crap that I can play 3 chords on a guitar. That girl that's seriously into techno, trance, dubstep, hip hop, etc...probably really won't care I can play guitar.

    You're setting off too many bullshit detectors.

    You're going to have a ton of hurdles to overcome in that sales letter, in my opinion.

    Most guys understand that it's not the guitar playing that attracts the girls. It's the fact they usually are also in a band (maybe your guide covers this, I don't know.)

    Being in a band and performing in front of people is what is attractive to women.

    It takes confidence to stand in front of people and perform. Women are attracted to confidence. (Actually that may even be a selling point for you)

    Attraction, it's kind of a chain reaction with women in this regard. You're playing with a band at a show, and some girls will want you, well because those girls want you, other girls will want you. The jealousy thing with women (as much as they hate to admit it) is what drives women to want a guy even more.

    Have you considered just making this product a bonus to your other one? Honestly, it seems to me that may be the better way to go. Maybe even give this guide away, as a lead gen to your other product.

    Ultimately, it will be up to you. I'm sure more experienced guys will weigh in.

      Have you considered just making this product a bonus to your other one? Honestly, it seems to me that may be the better way to go. Maybe even give that guide away, as a lead gen to your other product.

      Actually yeah, it is a bonus to my primary book, but I thought I'd try selling it too.

      Here's the deal, I know theres tons of crazy outlandish methods out there in terms of "the mystery method - the game- guide to seducing girls", but back when i was single... this is exactly what I did to literally "get girls into bed" and it works!

      If the buyer is a high school shut in, or a guy that just has never really had luck with girls... this is one more thing they can throw into their arsenal and i've been pretty lucky with the ladies throughout life... :rolleyes: and this is where the guitar playing has brought me that much farther over the fence.

      This guide's second half is similar to those seduction books but tells you step by step what to do...

      ex. Most books..

      The grocery store is a great place to meet women - The End

      ex. My book...

      [Go to the grocery store at around 11 am on a weekday - This is "Prime Time" for cougars... Walk the store and be on the look out especially around produce. If the store is dead, move onto the next one. Once you see an attractive woman that you decide go up to here and politely say "x" , she'll either laugh or give you a strange look - afterall your a stranger.. If she laughs that is a sign that you can continue speaking with her and she may have interest. If she gives you a weird look and doesn't respond, swallow your pride and walk away. Next, she smiled... say this ...] (NOTE: Just an example, not part of the book, but its step by step and super thorough just like my guide

    Maybe you could go from the confessional angle, "how a regular guy who only knew 3 chords was able to date any girl he wanted and you can too" or something perhaps? I'm no copy expert but you've come from where your target audience are, maybe this gives you some authority on the subject.

    As a happily married woman I'm def not in your target audience, but that's just my thoughts on your idea.
