Everyone was a rookie with silly questions at some point.

But this still made me chuckle.

Haha, the "I spent over 20 minutes!" line was my favorite. Sometimes even clients don't recognize how long research/writing/editing can take.

    Funny indeed Mr Subtle.

And yet here's the thing... what's going on here?

I mean, no question people expect things in an instant these days whether you're talking hot pizza or hot sex. Maybe it started with "fresh hot pizzas delivered to your door in 30 minutes or it's free", "get a six pack overnight", "become a millionaire in 7 days" or "get her in bed in 30 minutes" type promises.

Whatever. But see these ideas frequently enough and you get the idea.

Perhaps annoying, frustrating, even maddening is it possible that marketers and copywriters have just been too good at their jobs and reprogrammed expectations?

    Just a thought.
