I "stole" this technique from Frank Kern last year when he was sending
people right to his go-to webinar sign up page and not another squeeze.

I started testing it in my webinars and noticed, in fact, it did help increase
signups for me, by almost 40%

Personally, it pisses me off when i get an email from someone who I've been
on their list for years... and on multiple lists of theirs... yet they keep sending me
to yet another squeeze page to enter my name and email to yet another list.

so, this does indeed work... nice share!

  Great strategy for a 'webinar' format, but I'm wondering how it would translate to products that weren't being sold by webinar. Like the humble 'free report'

I would use the same technique.

Because when somebody wants to buy I don't want to get in the way trying to sell it all over again.

Best to just take the order (or email).

I might write a very brief sentence or two highlighting the benefits. Or reassuring them that they have made a great decision.
