Hey warriors,

I just started blogging and I've written my first blog post. I'm not sure if my communication is clear or not and I was wondering if I could get some feedback from my writing? I would be more than happy to hear your input. Thanks in advance.

    Pretty good. I've read that book--it's fantastic.

    One thing you might want to add though is to explain the role of the amygdala in shutting down the pre-frontal cortex. Giving your readers the science behind why your brain will sabotage big goals will give your article a lot of credibility and authority. I created a thread on a poker forum that was very well received about how the amygdala shuts down the pre-frontal cortex and how that can sabotage decision making while playing a poker hand. I think I got way more credit than I deserved for that thread. It was actually a really simple point but it seemed like people were really impressed that I was referencing some basic neuroscience to back up my points. I think you would get that same reaction from readers of your blog if you explained a little bit of the science.

    Hi,

    I've read the post and if you'd like to know whether it reads well or not I think you have nothing to worry about. The writing style is great, conversational and you talk TO people instead of talking AT them, which is another great thing in my opinion.

    I think you also gave a pretty clear explanation about the product, it explained really well what the book is about. If I was into self-help stuff I'm sure I'd consider buying it.

    All in all, great job. Just keep writing lots more articles like this and I'm sure you'll do fine. By the way, the site itself looks really great, too.
