"So when you’re talking to a client and you get a gut feeling of “This guy is already a jerk upon first contact” here’s a lesson you can take to the bank. I’ve learned when any relationship starts out the teeniest, tiniest little bit weird, there’s something not quite right when a relationship first starts. Whether it’s a first contact via email or phone it never get’s better it always gets worse. So you’re on the phone with the guy and you think “Man he’s already kind of a jerk on the phone” I guarantee it’s going to get worse you should probably walk away from him, but when you need the money you take the gig and wind up working with a jerk and you wind up hating the guy."
