Anybody have some background info on Fat Loss Factor?

Hey y'all...

I'm curious if anyone has some insider information on how traffic is being driven to The Fat Loss Factor - besides solo ads.

Also...

Is the control that's up the first go... or did it evolve into its current incarnation?

And what do you think about including the product creator's email in the piece? Anyone have some feedback on what that achieves, beyond trust?

Mark

It evolved. That's all I can say. There is a loooong, convoluted and strange story to that product.

I like how well the VSL uses the "I'm a Doctor" schtick for credibility, especially considering he's just a chiropractor with the easiest type of certification there is to get. Very clever.

I've also thought about that whole "My email is DrCharles@..., email me any time, I love to meet new people" angle too. I think it just has a lot to do with what Gary Halbert said here about making your prospect feel like you're accessible and real and like they could "reach out and touch you", even though 99% of them won't bother to contact you.

I remember when they first swiped the FatBurningFurnace copy with a powtoon type program drawings...

Then out of no where I saw it on clickbank.

I think the big idea is what makes it stand out. The whole - we were made to hold foods in our body because back in the day it was scarce.

Alexa's Upstream feature shows the top 10 domains sending traffic to fatlossfactor.com. Perhaps with some creative thinking, you can reverse engineering.

Another stellar copywriter emailed me an interview that Doctor Charles did - telling the whole story behind FLF. Great stuff. He mentioned having a staff that deals with the emails. But still, with the amount of sales FLF makes daily, just 0.3% of those customers emailing him would take a lot of administration. I'd love to know more about how that's working out.

I'd also love to know how those emails are being used in future marketing. I'd imagine they get some great research done - just by reading and responding to people.

Yup, checked it out. The problem I have is... my client has a physical product that Clickbank doesn't support - as far as I can tell at least (a homeopathic remedy.)

So even if I totally redid my sales funnel for him and led with a digital product and used the supplement for the first upsell, it still wouldn't work.

      Traffic wise...

He's getting the majority of his sales from affiliates. I'll be more dependent on lists - since we're selling a physical product (amongst other things.) It would take time to make YouTube and other traffic sources (that feed FLF) worth while.

But I'll give it more thought Alex. You're definitely right to get creative in reverse engineering his traffic.
