Here's a high converting dating offer: Goldfish

This one I'm pretty sure was written by Chris Haddad and I know they do 7 figures a month.

That was written by Jon Benson. With the help of the product creators.

Also... it's doubtful anybody will share which videos are converting on cold traffic. When you reach that point, you're better off keeping it to yourself.

Yes you are right about Jon Benson and Josh (the product creator) writing it, I remember Josh mentioning this in a thread on this forum.

I'm not saying to share your own videos or even videos you promote as an affiliate.

I'm talking just offers with video you've seen that have great copy.

Short answer, market research, the right audience and a great sales script. I make those types of videos all day, but a lot of clients want to write their own script or even use their own voices.... both are no-no's

LOL it's odd then that the majority of the top 10 products (including 2 of the top 3) on Clickbank had their sales video script written by the product owners themselves... a few are voiced by the product owners themselves as well.

Are you talking about the explainer-style videos you link to in your sig?

This conversation is about video sales letters, right?

A different breed if you ask me. Product owners speaking directly to their prospects through a video sales letter is a pretty damned effective method of persuasion.

In the survival niche, the 37 Food Items Sold Out After Crisis sales video has been really successful.

(EDIT: Looks like that's a new video. I know their old whiteboard VSL converted really well. I don't know how this one's doing.)

So has Gone Before Gridlock.

Both rely heavily on showing the problem (doomsaying, in this niche), offering secrets being covered up, and building up the ego of the prospect.

I know they get a lot of traffic from Glen Beck's site, the Blaze. There are also plenty of message boards for preppers. I imagine Google Adsense and Facebook as well - I did a couple survivalist email campaigns, and my research caused Google and Facebook to advertise survivalist products to me for the following weeks.

I'm very surprised google and facebook would allow "end of the world" ads when they are so strict even with mass markets like weight loss. Especially google and the BS they put you through to run ads, I'm shocked they allow these type of campaigns to run.

There are offers in this niche with better copy. But none with a better product, imo. Pandora is internet radio. pandora.com.

I almost bought the Pimsleur course myself after watching the video even though I have no additional language learning needs at the moment. And thanks to my compulsion for doing research I discovered that the offer was leading into a continuity and that wasn't something I was interested in.

And I also was mesmerized by the 37 sold out items video (the original whiteboard one actually). Very powerful stuff.

I'll watch the Fish and Venus videos in the morning ;-)

There are a few other videos I vaguely remember, but I have to look them up... There's one in the weight loss niche (actually several) and one in the relationship niche, i.e., get your ex back with text messages.

Yeah I suspected the language offer had an optimized backend. No way someone is profitable buying ads on MSN with a $10 offer without some really good backend marketing.

These guys must have made a TON of cash, I cant remember the last time I saw someone buy ads on so many premium placements like they did.

I saw them on MSN.com for weeks and thats a 5 figure per day spot.

  That's what I was thinking, and it's probably a bit cheaper than whiteboard video too. Still, the script itself is obviously what's really exceptional about it. I wouldn't be surprised if Venus Factor crept into the 2nd or 3rd spot on CB's health category within the next few weeks.

If we are talking about great videos, I do not think that you can leave out the vids that Any Jenkins and Mike Filsaime are doing over at Video Genesis is LIVE . They are taking things to a whole new level including copy.

Have you guys seen them? The course is worth about 5x what they are charging for it. I know it is going to up my game if my head does not explode from all of the content.

I disagree completely man, I don't pay attention to any of these launches and never really did.

The traffic they are getting is endorsed/warm traffic, and they are in the "make money online" market which I know from first hand experience is a market where it is pretty easy to convert because so many of the prospects are lazy/kind of stupid/desperate/shiny object seeking.

You cannot compare what they are doing to people buying traffic profitable from mass market sites like MSN.com at costs of 5 figures per day.

Cold/paid traffic is the only traffic that matters. I don't even pay attention to the selling/marketing done in these launches. Converting warm/endorsed traffic doesn't mean anything. I watch the guys who are buying and converting cold/paid traffic on large scale.

I agree with you there. Funny as heck! They are raising the bar on what will be acceptable for videos. Give me about two weeks to absorb some of their info. Nothing short of amazing what they teach just in the sales video and in the live hangouts they are having... all for free!
