App Store Copy?

A potential client just contacted me today, absolutely desperate (at least he seemed that way to me) about his App store copy!

He will be launching soon and the copy he sent me to look over is terrible!

No question I'll be able to help him, but I've never written app store copy before.

Is the approach any different?

I looked at a bunch of apps on itunes tonight and a lot of it is bad, I guess there's a market niche for app store copywriters.

So any suggestions?

    Hmm... given that most apps have a pretty low price point, I'd think that the amount of selling needed often lies in either demonstration or a benefit lead. Haven't done any kind of copy like that, but I'd assume that most people are already presold on either popularity or reviews before arriving on the page.
