Pretty cool article, but it would be much more compelling if the author actually knew his body fat % (there is no way it's 16% in the first images, which he claims).

Either way, crazy to see how much difference a shave, a flex, and an hour can do.

They've been airbrushing and photoshopping the covers of magazines for years... this is just another instance where advertisers and companies will tweak/twist something and manipulate it in their favor.

I was a bodybuilder and did contests... and can tell you that just the lighting factor and tanning can make someone appear thinner and more muscular. So a lot of these before/after pics is nothing more than illusionary tricks.

I remember at Eben Pagan's Altitude event around 6 or 7 years ago... he asked the audience something like...

"If you were in a position as a business owner where you noticed you could make a tiny tweak to your advertising, where it would bring in hundreds of more sales and thousands of more dollars... how many would do that"

Max5ty... running every morning will also help you either catch up to some of those women... or run away from the "not so good looking ones"....

But you're right... someone who has been working out, they can take time off and come back and get in shape pretty fast.

When I was bodybuilding myself... I'd often take 2 weeks off after heavy and intense training.

Now, some would expect that 2 weeks off and you'd go to crap. Nope, the opposite would happen... i'd come back stronger and more muscular because of rest.

But you're right... some of these photos could be easily people who have worked out, gotten in shape, and then let themselves go... knowing a photo shoot would be coming.

And presto, they can get back in shape very fast... due to muscle memory.

If done right... you can make DRASTIC changes to the body in a VERY short time... simply by using water/dehydration/rehydration techniques... which wrestlers and MMA fighters use.
