People come here for copy critiques all the time and there are many good suggestions given (and really bad ones sometimes lol).

In truth, there are countless amounts of sales copy choke holds and tricks to make a difference to your sales.

But I thought the following could add something extra to the mix which I don’t see very often.
If you have a product that is not doing well in the market place the following tip can really help.

It has helped dozens of my clients in the past to make serious money from their sales letters and videos.

Ask yourself... Are you addressing the core primal need of the market place?
Note the word “Primal”.

People get caught up in the product a lot of the time and fail to address the deep need of the customer.

They think people simply want to make more money, or have a boyfriend or solve a surface problem but the real buying trigger goes deeper than this.

People want to be desired and envied. They are greedy and want more than they need, and they are lazy and want life to be easy.

They are full of lust and sexual desires.

These desires are buried deep within the brain and many of us are unaware of them.
When they are very strong, they can overlay a deep seated dissatisfaction with our lives for most people.

You can then become the solution, albiet a temporary one, most of the time.
So forget about your product for second.
Which of the above are you trying to satisfy?

If you’re in the IM market keep hammering home how easy you’re going to make life.
If you’re in the relationship market, hit them with the lust factor again and again or the need to be the object of obsession.

Hitting these core needs also livens up the copy more.
It becomes more about the person and less about the product.

The sales then follow naturally.
