The Benefits of An Orgasm

I'm writing for a product being positioned for male sexual enhancement. It has a bunch of good stuff in it, including L-Arginine, which if you've ever taken it, you know what it can do to your sex drive.

I was talking with the product creator last night about positioning. In his own research, he found that men who orgasm more are healthier, deal with less stress (or handle stress bette) and can focus more (after the fact;-)

I'd love to pick the brains of y'all and see if you can't come up with some more benefits of an orgasm. I've got a bunch written down. But I thought it might be fun to see what you guys (and gals) come up with (no pun intended.)

Cheers!

Mark

Don't orgasms also curb appetites and you can get a better sleep. Also along the stress relieving lines wouldn't that in turn boost heart health.

You could mention the fact that it busts immunity. People who have regular sex, catch cold less often than others. Plus, it's a good way to lose weight.

Too much of it aint good either, it drains your energy. Instead of releasing that energy all the time, use it for work. Its good for your discipline as well, makes you non outcome dependant. No sex, cold showers and raw eggs, thats how you get it done.

It releases endorphins which are the pleasure centres and make you feel good. When you feel good, you can cope with life better and you de-stress as well.

It's good for relationships in numerous ways, whether you're in one or just starting one.
Even a casual affair boosts your energy and endorphins.
It also tends to put a happy smile on people's faces and ends up as a topic of discussion at work. (or so I gather).

They make losing your life savings on Wall Street a lot easier to handle
They make getting dumped by the girl you dated for 2 years much, much less significant
They make looking more like Jabba the Hut than Brad the Pitt more fun
They make you MORE attractive to the opposite sex

Essentially, an orgasm releases strong bursts of dopamine similar to that found in the brain of a heroin user.

For a woman -- the benefits are letting go of all the external pressures society puts on you. You can finally "be yourself" because that insatiable hunger is gone (at least for the time being).

For a man, not much besides stimulation and amusement. It's more fun to make a girl cum.

For men more orgasms means better prostate health! My doctor advised me that men, especially over age 35 should have at least one orgasm at least every 5 days, to help keep the prostate healthy.

If you like using the carrot and the stick, the stick part could be that if they don't have enough regular orgasms, that their chances of getting prostate cancer actually go up!

I used this logic as a pick up line, believe or not:

"I have a medical condition and I require at least one orgasm a day. I hope you're up to the task."

Sadly, the line did work once or twice.

Another tip: If you ejaculate less than 21 days per month your testosterone levels will decrease and the quality of your sperm will decrease as well.

This means that if you want virility, high libido and generally masculine qualities (and healthy kids), you should jerk off (or have sex) more than 21 days per week.

But then like I said, there comes a point when it gets to much as well. There are people sitting around jerking off for 10 hours a day...not much productivity there.

Anyway. I don't have any sources for anything I'm saying but I'm 100% certain that I've seen the medical research for my claims. I just don't remember where.
    Feel free to use it.

Unfortunately, a lot of men aren't getting enough blood flow, down there, and need to be reminded of WHY orgasms are so important.

      If you're talking to me...

I agree, the orgasm is the benefit.

      And I'm very benefit driven;-)

An orgasm is a major neurological and physiological event (Alfred Kinsey once described it as "the expulsive discharge of neuromuscular tensions"). The bloodstream is flooded with hormones such as oxytocin and dehydroepiandrosterone (DHEA). At its height just a few minutes after ejaculation, oxytocin may increase bonding, leading people to fall in love, but it also reduces stress and brings on sleep. DHEA is actually a steroid and has been shown to reduce the risk of heart attack in middle-aged men. Both hormones have been shown to reduce depression."
