I would really like to know why people often doubt the quality of Indian writers?

It's usually because of broken English, poor grammar, spelling mistakes...

People can generally tell if you're fluent in English or not. There's usually odd word usage and things like that.

If you can speak fluent/native English, there shouldn't be an issue. If not, people can tell.

I don't think that all Indian writers are bad in English. Unfortunately it has become a general perception that they are bad in English.

I think it's more about the fact that they're not native speakers. DOesn't matter that they're indian. They could be swedish... german... french.

The reason they're singled out is you don't see swedish copywriters on the WF offering sales letters for pennies on the dollar.

In fact... of all the non-native speakers indians are among the BEST at speaking the language.

But copy is all about nuance. Non natives just can't usually master the nuances of the english language. Especially colloquial english which much of copy is written in.
