Why he didn't include a section in his leaflet on Potential Side Effects I'll never know. But it'd be the one I'd use to really drive home the benefits of working with Jon.

"Serious side effects of hiring Jon Ryder include highly contagious smiles from bosses and clients, significant promotions and raises without warning, uncontrollable new business and referral seizures, as well as frequent onsets of free publicity and media coverage. Avoid adjusting your dosage as long as these conditions persist."

I'm sure that can be improved and probably not what he would have written, but I would have had a section like that.

        Hi

Glad you liked my piece. Don't know why I didn't include side effects - I was obviously suffering from some myself at the time of writing.

        Cheers,

        Jon

You did really good work, Jon.

Is it opening doors for you? What's been the response? What have been the results so far in terms of leads and publicity? And what was the cost of putting the campaign together? Who in the agency did you send the piece too? Is the piece being passed around a lot?

Time to gloat a bit, if it's appropriate. It'll inspire others.

PS: If you want to collaborate on a version 2, let me know. I'll help you. I saw several opportunities, but most importantly, I'd include Potential Side Effects in the next round.

Ladle it on. Make'em giggle with delight as they read each of the side effects, realizing they found the copywriter of their dreams.
