Email Copy For Non IM Sales...What to do?

Hello fellow WFers,

What's a good product for swipes of emails for a particular niche? We just bought an opt-in list of men who buy high end products and our product is men's custom suits and shirts. So I know there are plenty of emails to swipe/or people we can hire to write copy if we are approaching businesses about mobile sites or SEO...

BUT, other then hiring a copywriter (which I may have to) what is out there for sale (such as "battle-tested swipes" which is an ad on top of this page!) for sale or to read? Anybody with an idea?

Thx.

Depends how much the suits are and good you are generally. If you lose one sale, have you just blown any saving you could have made?

Sorry I should have been clearer. I mean is it worth pursuing a swipe file and trying your best, or would it be best to accept you need a copywriter now?

If you do it yourself and lose one sale, you'll probably lose more money than you'll spend on the copywriter t do the job for you.

It looks like the wrong place to save money. That's all.

I'll have to try and locate them... but somewhere I have a swipe file of KILLER emails that I got, over time, from a high end watch company.

I had subscribed to their email list... and then proceeded to get some of the best, most persuasive emails from them.

And yes, I ended up buying 2 watches from them... they were nice, classy watches... but I honestly bought them because I loved the copy!

But that may be something similar as to what you're looking for... those who wear high end watches. If I can find the emails, I'll send them over.

Shawn, if you can find them I would be very grateful! Maybe I can get you a custom suit at our cost in exchange...although you are a little far. Co-incidentally, I have a little place in N. Conway, NH which is sort of close to Maine...but my office is in NJ!

  • Honestly, Id try and find out what other products your customers buy (BMW's, Rolex's, Mercedes) and get on their mailing lists.

These company's spend huge money on their "Branding" rather than the marketing.

What this means is that rather than using them as a traditional swipe, you would be looking to more swipe their voice tone instead of the actual words.

What sort of price point are you talking about?

Branding is an integral part of marketing.

If you want to be successful, DON'T whatever you do sell them suits or ties or accessories...

What DO you sell them? I'll be back with that later...

Shawn, if you manage to locate those emails, I'd love to check them out too if that's okay! Cheers.
