I would like to compile a list of some top lead generation sales letters for direct mail.

Mainly because I am sending some out in attempt to acquire web design/ re-design clients from small to medium businesses.

With that being said, resources?

    Check out Bob Bly's two books, Power-Packed Direct Mail and The Encyclopedia of Business Letters. They both have excellent samples of lead generation letters.

    There are also some excellent lead generation letters in Richard Hodgson's book, The Greatest Direct Mail Sales Letters of All Time.

    I was just using these books to write a series of 10 lead generation letters to my targeted list.
