108 Split Tests By Russell Brunsom -- Must Have

I wasn't sure I was really gonna ever get this thing in the mail, but sure enough, Russell sent an actual magazine of 108 split tests he's been running and it's really nice.

A lot of the winners are counter-intuitive. For example, we've all been told that we should use a delayed add to cart button for VSL's. Turns out that in every single test he ran, just having the add to cart button there right away won every time by huge percentages.

Anyone else get this?

EXCELLENT book. I got it a couple months ago after Ben Settle recommended it and was blown away by the value in it and just how many split tests and types they showed. Really, really good stuff and a real credit to Brunson and Co. because that $10 investment really did get me hooked and get me seriously interested in their other products.

About the VSL time-delay button, it's important to note that there are some markets and some types of traffic where it DOES still work better when it's delayed... with that said I tested it with 3 different products in Health/Fitness and got the same results as the Dotcomsecrets guys: increased conversions every time by just having the button there to begin with.

Some other good ones were Animated vs. Static headlines, best settings for VSL pages, and the bit about the "Feature Box".

  • At last, finally and about time...

On a VSL when you decide to be real and let the good people know you are actually trying to sell them something...

    Guess what?

    More of them buy it.

    Daa Dah,

    Steve

    This is an AMAZING book!!!!

...I love to read through it just before I create some marketing, or with a cup of coffee just before I start my work.

Some of the split tests are incredible!

I highly reccomend it, and that you read through it, and implement some of these cool tests
