How to quickly and easily nail your hook, message, and offer in an afternoon.

If you want to "hit the easy button" on creating a winning campaign consider this guru method. I call it the "tyd76" method (for why I do, pm me)

Before saying how to do this method, I need to describe the problem it's really solves:

Figuring out the buying avatar profile, what hook best draws them in, and why price point is the best...quickly and easily.

Use Facebook advertising. Use their custom audieness and specific demographics.

You can target by gender, education, location, income, and most importantly by interests.

It's really awesome.

Facebook will also tell you how many people fit that specific.

Set up a couple of campaigns in the afternoon and see what works.

This is perfect for honing in on a hook that matches a specific target.

      Indeed, there are other platforms that can target users to a high degree as well. The dating industry for instance has a huge volume of personal info stored, and sites like POF.com have a great ad program that utilizes this info.

        i'll look into that.

        I wonder which products and services appeal to those users.

        If they are looking for dates or sex, I'm not sure what buying mindset they would be in.

        However, it's worth a test!

          I can imagine a few things the POF audience might be in the market for, from items that enhance their attractiveness in a range of ways, from physically to to dating advice etc.

          Thanks also for the tips about using Facebook to research the target audience and their buying avatars etc.

    It starts with a hungry crowd. I think I've heard that before.
    Gary Halbert I believe. Once you know what your crowd wants and what your product does it's pretty easy to creating ads and a hook comes pretty easy, for me anyway.

    Marcus Frind of PlentyofFish (POF) is a very interesting guy. Started that $10 million business in his bedroom ten years ago - after bouncing around from coding job to coding job. Guy's a mathematical genius. He wrote some software that found a string of 23 prime numbers in arithmetic progression - at the time the longest ever. With his dating site he did something the other dating sites weren't doing - he looked closely at what his visitors were doing.

    Plenty of Fish was the first dating site to use behavioral matchmaking and actually try to predict relationships.

    For instance, a girl might say she was interested in a "loving relationship with a stable guy with a view to marriage" but really she was checking out playboy or biker profiles on the site.

    So Frind would match her up with what she was really interested in.
    After years of collecting data and trying all kinds of things to predict who will fall in love, who will break up and who will marry we have finally done it. We now have a fairly accurate model for predicting who an average user will end up with. Obviously it won’t work for everyone, but what predictive statistical model does?
    This new model completely replaces our old chemistry test. We now give you a set of 30 matches that you are most likely going to end up dating. The list will mostly stay the same but it will change if a better match signs up or one of your matches deletes themselves from the site.
    And, of course, his dating site was free. He initially made his money on Adsense - $900k in two months one year.

    So yeah - POF is pretty good at profiling - I think you'll find they were doing it long before Facecrook or anyone else.

      Provided u have enough data to work with

      I'm gonna play around with the advertising part of the site.

      I'm very shy to try because I don't want my wife to view my browsing history and see that site pop out. But, I think I'll talk to her and try it out.

      Is there a service that can profile buyer behavior of specific clients groups?

    Its simple statistical regression, nothing new, he just used new variables in his regression model which brought down the error rate in his predictions.
