Want to Review Each Other's Copy?

Hey guys,

If you have copy that you want reviewed, why don't we schedule a "copy review"? Michael Masterson came up with this concept where a group of 4-6 people get together and do the following:

1). Review each others headline and lead

2). Review the rest of the copy and say whether anything is confusing, unbelievable, or boring

3). Make sure it as the following 4 elements: a big idea, substantial promise backed by proof (testimonials, research, your own experience), more proof, credibility

These should take no longer than 30 minutes to do and have to be focused on POSITIVITY and CONSTRUCTIVE CRITICISM. You can't say "I don't like your headine". You have to say "You should add the word "secret" in your headline" or "you should reword your headline this way...."

This is supposed to do wonders for your copy. Simply having a peer highlight anything that's CUB (confusing, unbelieveable, or boring) could help bump up conversions.

Let me know if anyone is interested.

    Hey Raza,

I think that you have nothing but good intentions behind this post, however the best way to really get the right feedback, IMO, would be to pay a major copy-writer to rip-apart your work vs. having a bunch of noobs giving there 2 cents.

I learned this business from the one of the most talented copy-writers in the game. A guy who studied under Carlton himself... and thats how he did it

    Good Luck,

    Derek
