How to Say, 'What We Do' or 'Our Services' in a way that benefits the customer?

Hi Guy's,

I'm re-designing my girlfriends Pet Sitting website and I'm struggling with just a few words of copy.

On the home page there is an 'Our Services' services section. But that phrase is a 'me' or 'us' message.

How would you turn this simple, over used phrase and deliver a benefit to your reader?

  • Ask your girlfriend what she says to clients when they ask "What are your services?"

And viola you have the words you need.

P.S. It should always explain how wonderfully the pets are looked after - because that's what the owners want to hear.

"Your pets are cared for in the same loving manner as if it was you doing the caring."

How does that sound to you?

I like questions which presuppose a benefit...
"Are you looking for a place where your pet will be well-cared for, feel right at home..."

(or whatever...sorry, pet sitting isn't my "thang", so don't have a bunch of killer pain/benefit points in my ready-writing quill...)

...hopefully you get the idea, though!

I know this doesn't answer your question, but I had a thought.

One reason we (my family) does not have a dog or cat is because we like to take mini vacations. As soon as I saw your pet setting the first VP that came to mind is.

"How long has it been since your vacation? Let us watch Fido, you go relax"

When I write copy the first thing I think about is all the things that make people uncomfortable and I try to address it in the copy.

In their head they are thinking
"I can't go on vacation, because we don't have anyone to watch the dog."
"How easy is it for me to book the service?"
"Can I trust the person is not going to rob me or harm my dog?"
