help me find the right writer - content/writer for websites/LPs with conversions in mind
I'm working with someone and our major issue right now is finding the right person to fill in an important gap in our team.
We need a writer who is really good at working with a team that does performance based marketing.
Basically - we have some potential clients. We will build a simple website for them, get traffic to it through various means like adwords... And we have an arrangement in place that we get paid well based on conversions/leads/sales.
We have money we are ready to use to make this happen... It is a little risky, but me and the other partner believe we can make it work.
This is why we need to make the right choice about our writer. A large majority of our success long term will depend on the quality of our team right now.
We need to find a writer who can work with us to ensure we have the best chance of getting those leads/conversions when part of a team including PPC experts, designers, developers etc...
So I am not sure how to go about selecting the right person.
I would think someone who is an expert copywriter would be a good fit - however from what I see they like to make massive amounts of money from each piece of content they write. Which won't work with our system.
I had 'article' writers etc, before, but I find that they often just work in the mindset of writing up an article on subject X - and thats the end of their job.
In this case I need someone who is more invested, who will write content that gives us a good chance of getting some conversions.
Generally in terms of conversions you want to hit the minimums at least... 1% I'd say.
So we are hoping to find someone that can write content for websites and landing pages that at bare minimum will help us achieve 1 conversion (lead/call/form/sale) per 100 targeted visitors.
I know.... extremely generalized. I am just trying to paint a picture of the mindset you should have.
Quality content that will get conversions, affordable, and plenty of work with lots of A/B testing.
Any help finding someone or a few people who may help, or pointing me in the right direction would be most appreciated!!
Thanks!!
