Hi guys, I just managed to get my self a copy of Dan Kennedy's seminar, from a friend... Went to his house today only to find out that he has that dvd on his shelf...

Anyway... i watched the first 4 hours of the seminar, and although it's filmed quite badly with the presentation slides not showing because the cameraman didn't adjust for the camera for the projector light...

But that aside... THIS GUY BLOWN MY MIND AWAY... It's like... the guy ripped apart about $300 on stage... that's bigger then my current month to month funds.... and he gave some AWESOME advice on how to attract money...

The seminar was How to Attract Wealth for Small Business Owners... it was filmed back in 2003 (according to the copyright notice on the video).

I highly recommend this video to anyone wanting to UNDERSTAND how money behaves and how to attract it in your life... really some amazing stuff...

Anyone else saw this seminar?

Seriously, Dan Kennedy's teachings have benefited me greatly over the years. He is the real deal and totally knows his shit when it comes to making money.

I always find new nuggets of information when I reread his "No BS" book series, and for like $14 bucks each you can't beat them.

I bought his No BS Marketing book and it was nothing, but upsells and vague generalities. Basically, I paid $15 to read an advertisement for all his products.

      Pure garbage.

Dan's books aren't meant to teach you, they're designed to get you interested in his work and for credibility. If you actually want to learn something, you need his larger products or someone elses. But even a book of Dan's has more gold in it than most marketing courses, like someone else posted. If you think anything of Dan's is garbage then this forum might not be for you.

        MosnsterZero,

Got to Amazon.com and pick up Dan's "How To Make Millions With Your Ideas", for the money it really is an amzing book filled with great info ideas.

And the section on how Jeff Paul made his millions is very eye opening.

        Regards,

        Bill Jeffels

I've got just about everything Dan Kennedy has put out.

You'll learn more about marketing from one of his $9 books than most $2000 IM courses

Same here... it's part of my massive library in my office. My wife mumbles under her breath anytime she sees the library in my office and thinks I should downsize it but... that's why my office has a door on it. <grin>

Each of his books or courses that I've ever bought have been quite good. I had the opportunity to meet him a few months ago which was really cool.

My favorite book of his to date is his No B.S. Time Management. That one made a HUGE difference in how I run my consulting business, especially dealing with time vampires (Dan's term, not mine). It should be required reading for every business owner and entrepreneur.

The one thing of Dan's I don't recommend is his copywriting-seminar-in-a-box. It was light on the copywriting and heavy on the direct mail/direct response marketing material. I bought it looking to improve my copy chops at the time, not my already strong marketing skills.

you will be fairly pleased with his Ultimate Sales letter as previously mentioned..

well mostly i'm just interested into attracting wealth into my life, currently, and writing copy, not as a professional but just for myself and my own products, is just one aspect of that that will help me move toward my goal...

Can anyone explain why is the Copywriting in a box such a piece of crap? You all keep saying that but non of you explained why... Not that i'm implying that you are wrong, i'd just like the exact reason why. Many people would say that some movies were a piece of crap, but when i watched them they were amazing... but then again my brain works on a different level so...

I got Dan's stuff over 10 years ago... Dan is the man. even his old copywriting stuff is great. the recording quality was wild but it made no difference.

Get any and all of Dan's non-niche Info. His info is evergreen on marketing in general. Most the IM marketing innovations are things he's been teaching for years. Most of the top IM guru are in Dan's inner circle coaching.

Google him and check ebay Make deal with a licensed seller of Kennedy's products and you can buy his info at a a huge discount in a big package.
Just tell the seller what you want, and ask em "what's the best price you can give me" If you like you can just get all his copy courses.

      Hey there,

I highly recommend Kennedy's stuff. If you can, get your hands on books in his No B.S. series. Great stuff.

Also, his Magnetic Marketing kit (really affordable on Ebay) is more or less the "base" of all his work. Everything else is derived from Magnetic Marketing.

      It's awesome.

      To your many successes,

      Angel

    Oh ya, almost forgot.

Regarding Dan's "Copywriting Seminar In A Box", the part that was worth the price of the course for me was when Dan went over Kevin Trudeau's structure for creating winning infomercials.

No matter what people say about Kevin Trudeau his infomercials have brought in hundreds of millions of dollars, and watching Dan go over the structure of his infomercials was worth the price for me.

    Take care,

    Bill Jeffels

      Bill,

I find that, most of the time, watching Dan break down pieces is the best.
In Magnetic Marketing, he dissected Halbert's Tova Borgine ad and marketing approach. Great stuff.

      All the best,

Yes, I'd agree with you there. Dan seems to put more emphasis on the business end of things.

However, the dvd that Dan did for TJ Rohleder titled "How To Make 100k in 100 days" was very enlightening. If you want a good direct mail education it's a good idea to get on TJ Rohleder's mailing list.

But I would be a little hesitant to buy from him since there has been alot of complaints on sites such as RipOffReport.com due to his marketing tactics.

        Take care,

        Bill Jeffels

          Bill,

Actually, I have heard of the dvd, but never picked it up.
          I'll look into it.

I was given a gift, T.J. Rohleder's CD, "How To Make a Fortune With The #1 Marketing Secret I Got From Dan Kennedy."

The CD impressed me, so I went looking for more of his stuff. After the RipOffReport thing, though, I just stopped.

I've also read about one of his tactics to make money. Pretty dirty stuff.

          All the best,

            Hey Angel,

Ya, I don't agree with Rohleder's tactics either. There's always someone trying to do it the easy way. But you know, I think you can still learn something from them.

I don't agree with how Vincent James (Passifiume) has ripped people off with the LONGITUDE pill that he was marketing.

But, if you've ever read The 12 Month-Millionaire he does know his stuff... he just chose not to do it the legal way.

            Take care

For me, being a member of the local GKIC chapter is hugely important to keeping my head in the game. Being able to associate with other small business owners who "get it" is extremely valuable. That, and the fact that Bill Glazer spoke at our meeting last night doesn't hurt.
