This is an olden classic. An hour of solid gold from none other than the sales king himself:

Use it to enhance your Copy... Use it to close more deals.

One of the easiest transformations I ever undertook as a copywriter was reading that quote every day.

I've not seen him on video before, but this is pretty much the same stuff I looked at a couple of years back. Very good stuff, although I didn't really know about copywriting back then.

It's funny how, in so many fields, people are always struggling to "stay relevant", yet the oldies in sales are nearly always goldies.

COOOOOL! Thanks so much for the share.

Actually, one of the members of a former mastermind group showed us that video but I wasn't able to take notes fast enough and I never got my hands on it again, so ithis is great!

P.S.: This video must be quite a few years old. Brian looks so young!

Yea, and the audience looks like it's from the early 80's... same with the video quality. lol The content is what matters though.

"How do I embed a video on another site?

Go to the video page and click the Share button that appears when you hover your mouse over the video player.

In the pop-up window, you'll see a field containing embed code for the video. Just copy the magic code and paste it into your website or blogging software. Instant hotness."

          Excellent share BTW!

Thanks. Don't think that's going to work within a VBulletin post, though thanks for giving it a shot.

Absolute gold. This presentation was fire. Real salesmanship stuff. Though I'm not sure it will really resonate with some unless you've actually been in real, face-to-face sales interactions and made your living as a salesman. Learned a ton from this guy and Tom Hopkins back in the day.

Heh. The Ben Franklin close. Man....I've done that one a couple times. lol

    Great find.

The first sales and the first self-improvement book I ever read was How To Master The Art of Selling by Tom Hopkins (and that was before I'd read any persuasion or copywriting books). He's an absolutely amazing guy that Tom. Never used the Ben Franklin myself, but I remember learning it in How To Master The Art of Selling before I saw it in that presentation... looks like Brian Tracy was advocating it first. lol

Anyways, glad you enjoyed the vid.

Love Brian Tracy. Saw him live back in 1989. I was only five, but still took a ton of notes.

These days, very few, meaning one in a million prospects is going to sit still for a Ben Franklin close and some of the others. Great video, but evaluate each method carefully before whipping it out on a modern buyer.

This is certainly an oldie but a goodie.

There is certainly gold to mine here.

    Good find.
