Question re blog posts about copywriting

I wonder if anyone can help.

Is it possible to post a link to blog posts about copywriting on this forum? I cannot find a sticky about forum rules.

  • I would caution you against it unless you have a specific purpose. If it's just to educate newbs, why not copy and paste the entirety of it here? If it's just to have a link back to your site from a reputable forum without actually providing helpful info, well...we know what those look like.

    • Yea, posting something valuable you find on Copyblogger or something is one thing... plugging your own stuff is another matter.

    • Copy and pasting is a good idea, perhaps I will do that....thank you! As for links back to my own site, I think there are much more creative ways to do this, hence why I asked the question in the first place. I don't want to break any rules

      As far as I can see this is a very helpful forum and I would like to be part of this community.. however, some of the posts I have read do seem to have an element of mistrust, but I suppose on a forum of this size this is inevitable.
