WF Copywriter Directory and Daft Email Offers

I know most people get silly emails sent to them via their websites all the time.

But... what most surprises me of late, is that I have been receiving some ridiculous sales emails with some quite frankly appalling copy...which I can see have come from people searching the WF Copywriter Directory.

Now, if that isn't researching your market properly I don't know what is. Bad copy to copywriters just isn't going to entice anyone. Perhaps I should offer my services

Does anyone else get these types of missives from from people (or spam bots) that have searched the directory?

    Save the spam. Yes, it is ironic.

    But, I've got close to a million pieces of email stashed away from the last 20 years of online activity...will never look at them again, but, the reason I kept them, is for a swipe file of how and what the sequence is.

    As an example, right now, I'm saving the Dave Dee/Dan Kennedy email series sent to people who did NOT buy any of their recent offers. It serves as a FREE education on what world class marketers do.

    How long will they send? How MANY final offers will I get? When does the sequence start over? What copy/persuasion tricks are being used?

    So, even with SPAM from someone or thing scraping a forum, it could be educational to see what comes next.

    With Dan and Dave, I know something is only a day or two away. Sort of like a Copywriter's Christmas morning every other day. What is in the package?

    Hey i'm on the same list for the same reason, although being sneaky i have two email address that i used so i could play. I don't know if its with being a brit but i find alot of the copy off putting yet i am a fan of Dan Kennedy and have several of his books which i like.

    I have noticed an increase in spammy style emails since i joined. A lot of people seem to want me to make a lot of money in short period of time.

    About the only thing I get are P3n15 enLarg3ment and V1agra emails...

    Aside from lists I've signed up for that is

    They tell me it's based on the sites I visit. I've no idea what they are referring to..
