Drop Ship Lifestyle Validity - Few Questions

Hello Everyone,

I'm a frequent lurker turned registered user. I've been doing some research on Drop Ship Life Style and noticed something odd that I am wondering if anyone can help elaborate.

This site "Johnnyfd.com" appears to be the main "http://www.dropshiplifestyle.com/" example and promotional tool. The thing I found concerning was the fact that Johnny FD states that the following:

"I signed up for Anton's course on May 27th 2013 and made my first sale on July 27th 2013.

On July 27th - July 31st I made four sales. On August 1st my first official month being in business began and it was the start of a new life."

This seems normal up to the point where you look at the image HERE and he states it was his first post yet he's had 126 posts prior to that "first post". Which would would mean that he's been a member for far longer than he's stating. To get 126 posts with an average of 3 posts per day would take you 42 days. Something here doesn't add up and makes me wonder what else in regards to the site is misleading.

I've already gone through this website doing searches and reading comments/reviews from what others have said, and if anyone can provide some additional insight into this or their own experience, it would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you,

I know Anton and Johnny personally, was just on Johnny's podcast last week. Johnny and Anton are friends but what Johnny promotes has nothing to do with the legitimacy of Anton's course. I'm on my second DSL store right now, in addition to having met a bunch of people that were just at Anton's retreat. Trust me this course is legit.

    Hi retrospec,

Post count changes next to the members names as they make new posts.

For example; if you look at my first post on the forum it will show over 1,000 posts.

If you look at that same page from Johnny on our forum now it shows 412 posts.

The post count next to the name is how many posts Johnny had when the screenshot was taken, not when he made that post.

    Hope that clears everything up.

    Thanks and good luck!

and @Laubster - I'm glad you were able to meet up with some of our guys after the retreat! I think 20 - 30 people told me they were going to stay in town for at least a couple of weeks. I wanted to stay longer but I had to go to DCBKK to do a breakout session on eCommerce.

for anyone wondering what that's all about - we just had our first live event and had over 120 DSL members come out to Thailand for 4 days of learning and fun.

Here's a shot of some us on the last day:

    Hi Anton,

Was in the process of purchasing, logged into the site today and you doubled the price of the course in one day and you've taken off the 60 day trial period to 14 days.

Any particular reason for the sudden jump?

Edit: And you added a $300 cancellation fee? A cancellation fee that is 1/3 the actual price? Never in the history of purchasing anything have I seen something that has a cancellation fee 1/3 of the proposed value.

I was about to pay and become a member at dropshiplifestyle.com today, until I saw the same thing this morning with the price being doubled Now I cant afford it! I was so keen hoping to start today, and also have a friend to join as well after I mentioned this great opportunity.

      Yep!

      Reasons for the price increase:
      • All new videos of the 7 core modules broken down into actionable steps
      • 7 new videos expanding on traffic techniques and including interviews with successful course members sharing what's making the most money
      • 22 new video series showing EXACTLY how to modify an out of the box Shopify theme into a highly converting store
      • 5 new video series on mindset & gamification
      • 5 new video series on importing & private labeling
      • Over SIX HOURS of presentation content from our first live event sharing techniques from industry leaders in:
        - Content Marketing
        - Amazon FBA
        - eCommerce Optimizations
        - Email Marketing
        - Facebook Ads
        - Google PLAs
        - Pinterest Marketing
        - Outsourcing
        - Flipping your Store
      • Invitations to all future live events
      • Feedback from hundreds of members telling me it should be priced at 10x the $497 price point that it has been at for the past year

Reasons for the decrease in refund time - I've always personally thought 60 days was ridiculous to begin with but we were selling through Clickbank and bound to their policies.

Reason for cancellation fee - to eliminate new members who are not sure if this is for them yet. If you are unsure, please don't join. If you join and for some reason don't like what we have to offer you will still get 70% of your purchase price back. You have full access to all of our courses from day one and there is no possible way that you won't get at least $300 worth of value within 14 days.

If you want to see what our members have to say about us go here:

This is Drop Ship Lifestyle on Vimeo

      and here:

      From Our Members

      and here:

      Drop Ship Lifestyle on Facebook

We have built up such a great reputation and community because our courses are excellent and our forum is thriving. The price is higher to reflect all of the new updates that have been added and our policies have changed to keep out anyone who is not 100% committed to making this work.

      Wishing you all the best!
      Anton

ps: we also just launched v2 of our members area which faster, cleaner, and loaded with more information than ever before:

Also, to be fair we have had a hellobar message on all of our webpages for the past 3 weeks notifying anyone who was "on the fence" that the price would go up and why. And as always all previous members received automatic upgrades to this new version of our members area. As our course and community continue to grow the price will continue to rise and as always all existing members will receive lifetime updates at no additional cost

For dropshipping, there is no inventory upfront.

However, there are other methods -quite easy - where you can be MASSIVELY profitable on WAY fewer sales.

I cannot comment on the product within this thread, as I believe people can be successful by implementing a lot of different courses. Everyone has an option, and I am in no way telling people NOT to sign up for this. I just want to inform people of other methods that also require less work, but nonetheless, it's still work, patience and perseverance.

      Successful people need all three.
